About the Role:

The Warehouse Supervisor for the 2nd shift in Goodyear, AZ, plays a critical role in overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and accuracy in inventory management. This position is responsible for leading a team of warehouse associates, coordinating workflow, and maintaining high standards of productivity while adhering to company policies and safety regulations. The supervisor will monitor performance metrics, manage shift schedules, and address any operational challenges that arise during the shift. Additionally, this role involves collaborating with other departments such as logistics, quality control, and inventory management to support seamless supply chain operations. Ultimately, the Warehouse Supervisor ensures that all activities during the 2nd shift contribute to meeting organizational goals and customer satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards.
• Ability to work the 2nd shift schedule consistently.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree or higher in logistics, supply chain management, or related field.
• Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies in a warehouse environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for reporting and data analysis.
• Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced distribution center or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff during the 2nd shift to ensure efficient operations.
• Monitor inventory levels and accuracy, conducting regular cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse associates to promote professional development and high performance.
• Collaborate with logistics and inventory teams to optimize workflow and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Prepare and maintain shift reports, documenting productivity, incidents, and any operational concerns.
• Manage scheduling and attendance to ensure adequate staffing levels throughout the shift.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse processes and reduce errors.
