Job Description: Registered Dietician (000359)

Location: 594 Albany Avenue, Mckinney, Brooklyn, NY 11203 ??
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm, 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week

• One Saturday per month required
  
   

Job Responsibilities ✔️

• Screens and assesses patients in an accurate and timely manner based on levels of care; determines patients' nutritional needs and status and provides follow-up care.
• Interviews patients and/or their families to obtain history of food habits and preferences.

• Interprets pertinent laboratory, physical and social data in the medical record, as it applies to nutrition care.

   

Required Skills & Experience ?

• Minimum one (1) year of experience.

Education & Certifications ?

Required Education:

• Graduate from accredited college/university with a degree in Dietetics or Foods and Nutrition.

 

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• For post-acute locations, New York State Certification issued by the New York State Education Department (NYSED) as a “Dietitian-Nutritionist”.
• For acute locations: Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) as a Registered Dietitian (Primary Source Verification required).

 

Weekly Breakdown:
Weekly Gross: $2,424.00 Per Week
On W2(Taxable): $660.00 Per Week
Stipend(Non-Taxable): $1,764.00 Per Week
