Talent4Health is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in West Bend, Wisconsin.

Shift: The schedule would be every Thursday (1300-2300), Friday (1200-2300), and Saturday (0630-1830).

 

Duties:

Job Summary:  

-Performs MRI studies under the direction of a radiologist and oversight of a senior MRI Technologist. 

-This individual interacts with imaging staff, nursing, physicians, patients and visitors. -Acts as a resource person for MRI technical, and other issues, and demonstrates competence according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols. 

-Operates MRI and related equipment, prepares scan room 

-equipment, supplies and medications.

 

Skills:

Required Skills & Experience:

 -Ability and demonstrated competence in IV insertion and contrast injection 

-Ability to assimilate new procedures into work routine is required. 

 

Education:

Required Education: 

-Graduate of an JCERT approved two-year radiologic technology program. 

-Successful completion of a cross-sectional anatomy class. Preferred Education:

-Two or four year college degree in radiologic technology, healthcare, business or other related degree.

 

  Required Certifications & Licensure:  

-ARRT registered. 

-Advanced certification through ARRT in ARRT-MR is required within 18 months of hire. 

-For those sites requiring advanced certification in MRI/CT, MR must be achieved within the first 18 months; CT certification must be achieved within 30 months of hire date. 

BLS certified within 90 days of hire date.
