Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel Medical Technologist for a travel job in Lander, Wyoming.

Position: Medical Technologist / Clinical Laboratory Scientist (MT/CLS)
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

The Medical Technologist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist performs a wide range of laboratory analyses in hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, coagulation, blood bank, and microbiology according to established performance standards. Responsibilities include specimen collection (venipuncture, finger stick, heel stick), quality control, and maintaining accurate documentation. This role requires strict adherence to safety, compliance, and professional standards, while supporting the hospital’s Code of Business Conduct and Corporate Compliance Agreement.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing across multiple disciplines (hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, coagulation, blood bank, microbiology).
• Collect specimens safely and accurately per physician orders.
• Maintain quality control records and equipment documentation.
• Troubleshoot and report lab service issues promptly.
• Support compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Education: Minimum HS diploma plus completion of an accredited MT/CLS program (ABHES, CAHEA, or HHSM-approved).
• Certifications:
  • ASCP certification
  • BLS (American Heart Association only)

• Experience: Blood Bank / Transfusion Services required.
