Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Trade Floor Support Engineer to assist in the migration of trading floor desktops from legacy Windows OS to Windows 10/11, while providing hands-on support for Bloomberg Terminals and other market data applications. The ideal candidate has a strong background in desktop engineering, trade floor environments, and real-time trading tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on technical support to front-office traders and support staff during a Windows OS migration.
- Coordinate and execute desktop migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to trading operations.
- Configure, test, and support Bloomberg Terminals, including network connectivity and API integrations (e.g., Bloomberg Excel Add-in).
- Experience with Bloomberg or Related applications.
- Troubleshoot trade floor peripherals (e.g., multiple monitors, Bloomberg keyboards, printers, turrets).
- Act as the primary contact for escalated end-user issues, ensuring quick resolution.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to validate application compatibility on new Windows builds.
- Maintain and update documentation for migration procedures, technical guides, and support runbooks.
- Participate in early-morning and off-hour support shifts as required to support trading hours.
- Support other market data platforms such as Reuters, Eikon, ICE, or FactSet (if applicable).
