Job Description
Tax firm in Mission Viejo is looking for a permanant tax accountant to join the team. This job must be performed 100 % onsite - it is not hybrid. They offer a more flexible schedule during non busy season. This job is also availalbe as a temporary project if you are willing to start immediately and would prefer short term.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
- Prepare individual, C Corp, S Corp, Partmership, and Trust Tax returns
- Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
- Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
- Interact with tax customers
Qualifications:
- CPA or Enrolled Agent Preferred
- 4 + years experience in tax
- Income tax preparation experience
- Detail and deadline-oriented
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
