Mantech seeks a ManTech seeks a motivated and mission-focused Software Tester to join our team in Herndon, VA.
As a Software Tester on our team, you will play a key role in delivering automation and big data analytics solutions to the Intelligence Community. This role combines rigorous software testing with hands-on end-user support to ensure reliable, high-quality performance across critical applications.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Execute all aspects of software testing, including regression testing
- Learn the applications and develop test cases and result reporting to support software releases
- Test application features and functionality for both expected and edge-case behaviors
- Enhance testing capabilities and ensure robust and efficient quality assurance processes
- Understand the user experience by directly engaging with staff, customers, and end-users
- Triage, troubleshoot, and respond to user support requests (approximately 20% of the time)
- Contribute as an active member of a fast-paced agile development team
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma and 5+ years of experience in software integration or software testing or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 1+ years of experience
- Experience with testing and debugging COTS and/or GOTS software
- Experience adapting to new system interfaces
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Selenium or other testing automation tools
- Experience testing in CentOS, RHEL, SE Linux, and Windows environments
Clearance Requirements:
- Active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph is required for this position
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
