Race City Garage Door is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Garage Door Technician to join our team. We provide our services throughout Charlotte and Mooresville and the surrounding communities.
If you’ve installed or serviced garage doors and openers - especially brands like Clopay, Amarr, Wayne Dalton, LiftMaster, and Genie - you’ll be right at home here. We’re a growing, family-run company that values craftsmanship, honesty, and people who take pride in their work.
Your Day-to-Day:
Install and repair garage doors and openers in residential and commercial settings
Troubleshoot and correct issues involving springs, cables, tracks, and electronics
Perform maintenance, upgrades, and adjustments for safety and performance
Work with top-tier products and systems from trusted brands
Deliver exceptional customer service on every job
Maintain a professional job site and company vehicle
What You Bring to the Table:
2+ years of hands-on experience installing and servicing garage doors
Mechanically inclined and confident using power tools
Strong attention to detail with a pride-in-work mindset
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work indoors/outdoors in various conditions
Punctual, courteous, and driven to exceed expectations
