- Elementary foundational skills and academic content
- Middle school advanced coursework and extracurricular activities
- High school college preparation and vocational training
- Students with diverse hearing technologies and communication preferences
Professional Duties
- Provide ASL interpretation for virtual classroom instruction
- Support student engagement in online learning experiences
- Interpret for special education assessments and meetings
- Facilitate communication during virtual school events
- Collaborate with educational audiologists and deaf education specialists
- Maintain professional interpreting ethics and standards
- Document service delivery and communication effectiveness
Credential Requirements
- 3.5 EIPA score minimum standard
- Minimum 2 years of educational setting experience
- 4.0 EIPA score preferred for complex assignments
- Written EIPA certification strongly preferred
- RID/NIC certification with written test highly valued
- Virtual interpreting experience preferred
- Exceptional technology proficiency and adaptability
