Job Title: Senior Manager SEO
Location: Katy, TX (Fully Onsite)
Duration: 12 Months with possible extension
Salary: $1,40,000 - $1,50,000/Year
Employment Type: Fulltime
Work Experiences:
- 5+ years of SEO experience in an enterprise-level multi-channel retail environment, with a proven track record of driving organic growth.
- 2+ years of people-leadership experience
Skills:
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise with SEO tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, SEMrush, SimilarWeb, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, log file analysis, and proficiency in tag management solutions. Deep knowledge of technical website languages (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, etc.) and their impact to SEO efforts
- AI and Technology Acumen: Demonstrated ability to understand and leverage AI and emerging technologies to enhance customer experience and drive sales growth.
- Project Management: Strong planning and analytical problem-solving skills, with experience in managing SEO projects from conception to execution.
- Communication Skills: Superior communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Leadership Abilities: Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as a team member, clearly conveying and accurately receiving information in various situations. Pursues self-development, seeks guidance, adapts to and learns from change, difficulties, and feedback.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic SEO Leadership: Develop and champion effective SEO strategies to drive organic traffic, improve search engine rankings, and increase conversion rates.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of SEO specialists, fostering a culture of a bias for action, continuous learning, and approachability as a mentor. Influence team through technical explanations and examples, keeping team on track by prioritizing actions and following up on deliverables.
- AI Integration: Utilize AI tools for advanced keyword research, competitor analysis, and content optimization to identify opportunities and stay ahead in the market.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with IT, Marketing, and Merchandising teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated across all digital channels. Train cross-functional partners and enable decision-making with SEO data. Work to break down siloes to drive organizational success in SEO.
- Content Strategy Development: Collaborate with content creators to develop and optimize high-quality, SEO-friendly content that aligns with our brand and business objectives.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor and take swift action on SEO performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Similar Web, providing regular reports and actionable insights.
- Technical SEO Management: Conduct regular website audits to identify and resolve technical SEO issues, ensuring optimal site architecture, speed, and mobile responsiveness.
