Retail Bank Operations Manager
Direct Hire; up to 100K + disc. bonus
Ft. Worth

**Must have traditional community banking experience versus credit union

Duties:

  • Provide oversight of bank operations to Branch Coordinator, Back Office Operations and Loan Servicing Staff
  • Act as project leader for system projects and conversions
  • Participate in community affairs to increase visibility and enhance new and existing business opportunities
  • Ensure audit compliance and procedure quality control and recommend/initiate corrective actions; ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations
  • Contribute to profitability; implement costs controls, income generation, and branch marketing efforts; monitor expenses to ensure compliance with budget
  • Assists Bank staff in resolving inquiries and providing managerial support
  • Participates in various internal committees assigned by Senior Management
  • Act as Retail Lending Officer servicing individual portfolio and review/approve banking center retail loans
  • Act as Bank Security Officer maintaining knowledge of security and safety policies and ensuring staff is properly trained
  • Review NSF and overdraft reports for commercial lenders, customers assigned, and employees; approve or decline exceptions
  • Maintain superior knowledge of financial industry status and trends
  • Manage Internal and External Audits and Exams
  • Performs personnel actions including performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, and interviewing candidates for employment

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years of related experience with branch management operations, lending, and supervisory
  • Skills in Horizon FIS Banking system, H360 Report Writer, LaserPro
  • Knowledge in progressively responsible branch management and supervisory activities
  • Advanced knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations, bank operational policies and procedures, and bank products and services
  • Advanced experience in all lending activities and terminology; cross-sell and explain  bank products and services with confidence and authority
  • Advanced loan product knowledge and math skills
  • Successful NMLS registration REQUIRED
