OVERVIEW
Responsible for all aspects of the credentialing and re-credentialing process for their assigned account, ensuring all Optometrists are enrolled in a timely manner with various Insurance companies. Maintain up-to-date data for each Optometrist in our Credentialing database. Maintain regulatory and expirable documents.

Remote Opportunity 

Temporary 3 month project 

Day Shift: M-F 9am-5pm

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILIES

• Submits credentialing and recredentialing request to our Credentialing Verification Organization
• Enroll Optometrist with Insurance Plans, new or existing group agreements
• Maintains provider information in our credentialing databases (Nucleus and VPoint)
• Maintains current and accurate regulatory documents for all Optometrist
• Maintains expirable documents for all Optometrist
• Ensures appointments and reappointments are completed with various insurance companies
• Assist with Delegated Credentialing Audits

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledge and understanding of the Credentialing process
• Knowledge and understanding of the Insurance enrollment
• Knowledge of Credentialing Monitoring
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel)
• Proficient with CAQH Proview

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or College Degree
• Minimum two years of relevant Credentialing and Enrollment experience, but willing to train the right candidate
• Ability to organize and prioritize work on a day-to-day basis
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail oriented and self-motivated
• Ability to research and analyze data
• Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
