Weekend Baylor Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Stone Cottage Care Center – Sigourney, IA 52591
Are you a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) looking for a weekend opportunity in a supportive and welcoming environment? Stone Cottage Care Center is seeking a dedicated Weekend Baylor RN to join our team and provide exceptional care to our residents.
Position Overview:
As a Weekend Baylor RN at Windsor Place, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality nursing care, collaborating with our interdisciplinary team, and ensuring the well-being of our residents. This role offers a focused weekend schedule, allowing for a balanced work-life routine.
Weekend Baylor Schedule:
Option 1: 12-hour shifts (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) - work 36 hours, and get paid for 40 hours with full benefits
Option 2: Two 16-hour shifts (Friday and Saturday or Saturday and Sunday) – work 32 hours, and get paid for 40 hours with full benefits
Rate: Up-to $40/hour
Key Responsibilities:
Provide skilled nursing care in accordance with residents' care plans and facility policies.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitor residents’ conditions, address changes, and communicate with the care team.
Offer leadership and guidance to nursing assistants to maintain high standards of care.
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Foster a supportive and positive environment for residents, families, and staff.
Qualifications:
Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa.
Experience: Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is preferred.
Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
