This role is for a Registered Nurse in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting. The RN will provide direct patient care, participate in surgical procedures, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team. The position requires scrub experience and weekend availability. On-call responsibilities are also part of the role.

Responsibilities:
- Providing direct patient care in a CVOR setting.
- Performing surgical scrub duties.
- Collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other members of the surgical team.
- Managing patient care plans and documenting patient progress.
- Participating in special procedures (CABG, AVR, AAA, MVR, Carotid Cutdown, VATS, RATS, Mediastinoscopy, Pericardial Windows, Tamponade, and Minimally invasive cardiac procedures).
- Responding to on-call requests as scheduled.
- Floating to the general OR as needed.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington state or a compact state.
- Minimum of one year of experience as an RN, with scrub experience preferred.
- Current BLS certification.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- ACLS certification.
- PALS certification.
- TNCC certification.
- CNOR certification.
Special Considerations:
- On-call responsibilities are required: 1 weekday call (M-Th) a week, plus 1 weekend a month (F, Sat, Sun). On-call schedule is dependent on staffing.
- Weekend availability is required.
- Floating to the general OR may be required.
- The manager will consider requests for block scheduling on a case-by-case basis.
- No pending licenses are accepted.
- Limited to 2 PTO requests.
Scheduling:
- 3 twelve-hour day shifts per week (0630-1900).
- Weekend availability is required.
