What We’re Looking For:
  • Current registration as a Certified Pharmacy Technician in the State of Ohio or eligibility to obtain.

  • Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification required.

Hours and Compensation:
  • Positions available in hospital, outpatient, and home infusion settings.

  • Schedule options: 32 or 40 hours per week, including weekend rotation.

  • Competitive hourly rate: $17.50 - $24.72, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

General Pharmacy Technician Duties:

  • Assist pharmacists in drug preparation and distribution, including unit-of-use packaging, automated floor stock maintenance (PYXIS), unit inspections, drug box/crash cart replenishment, and related computer applications.

  • Prepare patient-specific drug orders for pharmacist review and dispensing.

  • Conduct patient and family interviews to gather medication information.

  • Perform checks on pharmacy technician tasks to expedite distribution and free up pharmacists for clinical duties.

  • Replenish drug boxes and crash carts across patient care areas.

  • Support educational in-service programs on distribution and automation systems.

  • Assist in pharmaceutical inventory management to maintain appropriate stock levels and minimize shortages.

Chemo IV Technician Duties:

  • Oversee daily surveillance and documentation of USP 797 and USP 800 environmental controls.

  • Ensure proper daily cleaning of IV ante and clean rooms, and supervise monthly terminal cleaning by environmental service personnel.

  • Perform routine surface sampling per USP 797 and USP 800 standards.

  • Maintain knowledge of HEPA-filtered unidirectional airflow principles.

  • Complete annual competencies related to IV and chemotherapy compounding.
