This is a fulltime day shift position working on a consistent 7:00 am - 7:00 pm rotating schedule. Pay starts at $20.36 an hour, $1,000 sign on bonus, $1 weekend premium, eligible for all benefits day 1 of hire, 8% 401K match. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include safely and efficiently operating packaging equipment and machinery, performing troubleshooting and predictive maintenance inspections, minor repairs, maintaining a clean and organized working area, monitoring packaging quality and making adjustments, keeping detailed records, performing set-up activities such as mechanical assembly and loading packaging materials, detailed cleaning activities, meeting production needs and minimizing product shrink and downtime, maintaining levels of glue, lubrication, ink and other consumables, participating in shift exchanges and work team meetings, identifying Critical Control Points (CCP), following Good Lab Practices and safety SOPs, and other duties as assigned. The position may provide limited work direction to Case Stackers and requires adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures. The role involves working with dairy and nut products and allergens. Safety protocols include stopping unsafe acts, obeying safety rules, correcting or reporting hazards, and supporting safety programs. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED preferred, minimum one year experience running a production/packaging line and in food manufacturing preferred, forklift and pallet jack certification ability, Lockout Tagout (LOTO) certification ability, attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, problem-solving skills, customer-focused attitude, effective communication, basic math and computer skills, and professional conduct.
