ULTRASOUND TECHNOLOGIST / Ultrasound Tech
Location: Manhattan, Bronx , Queens
Day Shift; 5x8 or 3X12
Summary: The Ultrasound Technologist performs ultrasound examinations, renders technical assistance to the Radiologist, and maintains and cares for all ultrasound equipment.
Responsibilities:
Performs ultrasonic imaging and related procedures in one of the following areas: general ultrasounds, pelvic, abdomen, PVT or TA/TV, abdomen, Maternal/Fetal Surgery, and vascular anatomy
Demonstrates anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention by, or at the request of a licensed practitioner
Applies appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for completion of the procedure
Salary: $2,800.00 per week
