Regional Medical billing company specializing in anesthesia and radiology looking to add full-time (40 hour/week) staff.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the medical field, focusing on insurance enrollments.

This position is fast-paced/high volume, and the candidate must be able to multi-task.

Job Location: Newton, KS

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Responsible for gathering, tracking, and completing new and re-credentialing applications with insurance companies
• Navigate various online portals for the enrollment process
• Enroll providers for EDI through clearinghouse for all necessary payers
• Handle electronic funds enrollment and quarterly/bi-annual attestation requirements as required with individual insurance payers
• Coordinate with outsourced vendor for new provider enrollments and assist with the processing of each application
• Work with electronic claims clearing house ensuring compliance and accuracy of provider data for efficient and timely claim filing and remittance retrieval

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Successful candidates must be flexible, organized, follow through, and communicate well with medical providers, payers, and fellow workers.
• Maintain above average attention to detail, be self-motivated, have knowledge of Microsoft Office, be tenacious, and can manage heavy phone volume.
• Attention to detail and accuracy is imperative.
• Previous office or medical billing/insurance enrollment/credentialing experience preferred.
