Job Description

This is a remote position.

Responsibilities & Deliverables

  • Domestic and International shipment coordination. Transaction Management.

  • Execute, monitor and communicate standardized processes across business units and geos.

  • Capture relevant shipping information from vendor/carriers for inbound and outbound movements. Timely communication with key stakeholders.

  • Identify and proactively address exceptions that require immediate attention or corrective action

  • Cross-functional Collaboration / Communication

  • Collaborate, align with, and support subject matter experts (Security, Trade Ops, Legal, Procurement, C-COPS) to ensure operational compliance, integrated planning and execution.

  • Conduct cross-functional training for new hires regarding SOP for shipping products (compliance, inbound and outbound).

  • Support supplier on-boarding and implementations. Support execution of high-quality vendor relationships. Ensure service agreements are met.

  • Manage activities to meet new product introduction (NPI) needs: Process daily work orders, inbound & outbound logistics transactions, one-off requests.

  • Maintain, manage and distribute incoming data, notifications and alerts. Provide timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition.

  • Drive speedy resolution and service recovery exception/escalation management.

  • Track and analyze internal and external performance to ensure results and propose operational/cost optimizations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (i.e. procurement, security, finance, etc.) to ensure PO E2E best practices, comprehend business needs for logistics & fulfillment requirements.

  • Participate in meetings with cross-functional teams and outside compliance partners to address customs requirements and issues

  • Document and train new hires on regional and global processes.

  • Warehouse management duties / inventory management.

Requirements

Skills and Competencies:

  • 1-3 years in lead role in international shipping and receiving

  • 1-3 years international logistics experience

  • 1-3 years Product Classification and Import Trade Compliance experience

  • Strong proficiency required in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel & Word) & Google Docs.

  • Experience with Oracle ERP systems, Visio, MS Project and Tableau preferred

  • Ability to ensure data is accurate and entry is timely, to varying levels of detail. Strong understanding of data capture platforms.

  • Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with multiple stakeholders within and across functions as well as with suppliers and partners.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to message to a wide range of audiences.

  • Ability to work well independently, with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to consistently deliver high quality, accurate and timely outputs and meet others’ requirements/objectives.

  • Ability to clearly and concisely determine and summarize quantitative and qualitative results. Ability to create pivot tables.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, changing environment.

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and adapt to new tools and processes quickly

  • Ability to think outside-the-box to solve problems.

  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills to fulfill daily, weekly, monthly deliverables

  • Understands, process and operations; can identify issues, risks, and opportunities

 

Education and Other Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required, Finance, Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering preferred

  • Start-up environment experience preferred

  • Able to develop a thorough understanding of company policies, procedures and safety rules

  • Able to be in a stationary position for a considerable time (sitting and/or standing).

  • Able to collaborate with colleagues via face to face, conference calls, and online

Expected Salary: $65,000
