Job Title: Lead Software Engineer - AI/FinTech

Role Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Senior Engineer to join their engineering team. The Senior Engineer will play a crucial role in the design, development, and deployment of AI-powered financial applications. This individual will work alongside a talented group of engineers and data scientists to create impactful solutions that will drive the future of FinTech.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, architecture, and development of scalable AI-powered financial solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data scientists, and designers, to deliver cutting-edge products.
- Write high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code while ensuring best practices and optimizing performance.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
- Contribute to the development of AI algorithms and machine learning models to address complex financial problems.
- Participate in code reviews, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in AI, FinTech, and software engineering, driving innovation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of management experience / 7+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on AI/FinTech technologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or similar.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.) and data pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with financial applications, APIs, and integrations is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a critical and creative mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
