*Job Title: Infection Prevention Nurse*

*Pay Range: $61 to $73/hr*

*Job Type: Contract ( 14 Weeks with High probability of extending)*

*Position Summary: *Our Client is seeking a compassionate Infection Prevention Nurse involves recommending and implementing policies, procedures, and processes for identifying, preventing, reporting, and controlling infectious diseases as well as for providing related nursing care; conducting outbreak investigations; and gathering and analyzing infection data to develop plans for the eradication.
*Responsibilities:*
Educating medical and public health professionals on infection prevention protocols to facilitate emergency preparedness
Isolating and treating infected individuals to contain the spread of infectious diseases
Assisting with the development of action plans in case of a community or hospital outbreak to minimize the potentially devastating impact
Collaborating with government agencies such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to ensure that infection control practices are implemented and enforced
Studying pathogens to determine their origin and prevent future outbreaks
*Requirements:*
Active, unrestricted certification/licensure as RN
BLS from AHA.
COVID card or Medical / Religious Exemption.
Demonstrated ability to provide top-tier service and exceptional communication skills.
