Generator Maintenance / Service Technician
We are seeking a motivated and mechanically skilled Generator Maintenance / Service Technician to join our team. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to learn, develop, and grow within the generator service field while providing exceptional customer care. Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on residential and light commercial generators following set schedules and processes (Generac, Briggs, Kohler, and Cummins).
- Communicate clearly with customers, explaining service performed and identifying additional opportunities to serve.
- Document service work and daily activity in ServiceTitan, our CRM system.
- Maintain truck stock and complete weekly vehicle inspections.
- Collaborate with department leaders and teammates on scheduling, troubleshooting, and debriefs after each call.
- Support installation crews and other departments as needed.
- Take part in ongoing training, with opportunities to advance into troubleshooting, service, and repair.
Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude with interest in troubleshooting (mechanical and electrical).
- Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable using technology/software (ServiceTitan experience a plus).
- Dependable, accountable, and aligned with our companys core values.
- Valid drivers license required.
- Preferred but not required: Generac or Cummins certifications.
