Pries is looking for a General Labor Packer to add to our team! No previous experience needed!

We have 2 shifts available: This is a 2:2:3 schedule format. You will work 2 on, 2 off and then every other weekend.

Duties include:

Receive instructions and work orders for the job from machine operator, or Team Leader.
Plan details of working procedure and gather tools and materials required. (ie. Paper, wood, racks, spacers, clamps, etc.)
Repetitively lift 50-75lbs with a partner as well as operate an over head crane.
Examine products for defects, such as deep scratches, bent material, bow, dents and flatness.
Report identified defects to Team Leader
Pack/Stack product based on production specs, pack codes, and notes, to prevent shifting/damage and meet customer requirements. Reports any discrepancies to machine operator and/or Team Leader.
May hand stamp or stencil identifying information on cartons or shipping containers.
Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to Team Leader and or Safety Department.
Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
Clean and organize work area.
