About Us Crypto Insights Group (CIG) is the leading alternatives data provider focused on delivering tools to digital asset fund managers, institutional allocators, and service providers. We arm investors with a comprehensive data platform, benchmarking data, operational due diligence insights, and transparent fund analytics so they can enter the new asset class with confidence.
CIG is backed by some of the most well known names in the space. Our mission is to empower the financial services industry with critical insights to responsibly increase their exposure to digital assets, and to support the growth and evolution of the emerging asset class.
Core Responsibilities
~ Fund support and advocacy. Become every manager’s biggest champion on the CIG Portal. Be the primary point of contact for every manager on the CIG Portal: guide their journey and coach teams on institutional best practices to set them up for success.
~ Lead research & reporting. Own our monthly surveys and quarterly industry reports: design methodologies, analyze data, and turn insight into crisp narratives. Co-author public white-papers, write blog posts, and present findings to allocators, media, and at industry events.
~ Translate data into stories. Distill complex performance, risk, and benchmark data into clear takeaways for both fund managers and their prospective LPs.
~ Scout the market . Scour the digital asset universe for emerging fund managers and bring them onto the CIG platform, expanding the depth and breadth of strategies available to the fast growing set allocators utilizing the CIG platform.
~ Special Projects. CIG is a fast-moving startup with new opportunities emerging constantly. You’ll have the opportunity to lead high-impact initiatives at the intersection of your strengths and market demand.
Requirements
~ Dual market fluency. 3-6 years in traditional finance and hands-on experience in digital assets. You can translate institutional best practices into the crypto playbook, and you’re genuinely passionate about the space.
~ Investor relations mindset. Comfortable in front of C-suite executives, fund managers, and institutional allocators; you earn credibility fast. Prior Investor Relations experience is a strong plus.
~ World-class communicator. Clear, concise, and proactive across time zones, essential for keeping our global team aligned and accountable.
~ Data driven operator. You let evidence steer every move, interrogating datasets, testing hypotheses, and charting the optimal path forward. Advanced Excel is a must.
