Job Description
Responsibilities: - Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about the dishes and beverages available.
- Take accurate food and drink orders from guests and enter them into the POS system.
- Relay orders to the kitchen and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Serve food and drinks to guests in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Check guest satisfaction and address any concerns or special requests.
- Prepare and deliver the check to guests, process payments, and provide accurate change.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including setting up tables and refilling condiments.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations.
Requirements: - Previous experience as a server or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order taking and delivering.
- Knowledge of food and beverage menus and ingredients.
- Ability to handle cash transactions and operate a POS system.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Must adhere to grooming and uniform standards.
