ELECTRICAL SUPERINTENDENT

Delta Construction Partners is a national executive search firm for the nation’s premier electrical contractors and industry professionals. Delta has been retained by a confidential electrical contractor client to conduct a search for the position of Electrical Superintendent in Dallas, Texas.

Electrical Superintendent Compensation & Benefits:

Total compensation for the Electrical Superintendent in Dallas, TX is between $35-$55/hr

Electrical Superintendent Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary leader of subcontractors and field forces on a job site
  • Maintain project safety in accordance with the Company’s Safety Policy
  • Oversight of multiple jobs & manpower for each job
  • Develop and update the project schedule
  • Prepare two-week look ahead schedules
  • Update project schedules utilizing computerized scheduling software
  • Assist with the buyout and selection of major subcontractors
  • Coordinate the work of the subcontractors’ field forces
  • Communicate effectively with owners, designers and engineers
  • Maintain accurate cost reports
  • Adhere to all company policies, standards, and procedures
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

Electrical Superintendent Qualifications:

  • Strong employment stability
  • Candidate should have experience managing others with a proven history of leading, teaching, developing and mentoring successfully.
  • 5+ years as a superintendent running commercial, medical & light industrial projects.
  • Experience managing labor and installation crews of 20+ Electricians
  • Experience managing projects from $100k-$15M
  • Business acumen, judgment, communication, solid leadership, client relations & negotiations
  • Journeymans Card - preferred
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred but Not Necessary

  • College Degree Preferred, not mandatory
