Qualifications :
Required :
- Associate degree or higher
- 1 plus years of Home Health experience
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Michigan (MI)
- Valid Regular Driver License (DL)
- Any of the following valid licenses/certifications :
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)
- American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
Overview :
Join our client as a Clinical Field Educator, RN, where you will play a vital role in training and supporting new field clinicians. This position combines hands-on training with the opportunity to enhance patient care and clinician efficiency in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Train new field clinicians during the 8-week orientation
- Assess new field clinicians' skills and knowledge
- Facilitate performance-based learning pathways
- Coach field clinicians in the field and small meetings
- Customize learning paths and create remediation plans
- Document orientation, progression, and performance concerns
- Manage preceptor assignments and provide direction
- Conduct orientation calls and communicates readiness plans
- Evaluate and document readiness for patient visits
- Conduct hands-on clinical skill checks and evaluations
- Identify first-year field clinicians needing support
- Develop and document remediation plans
Schedule and Shift Details :
Monday through Friday, with potential evening and weekend needs; in-person training in week 1, followed by remote work weeks 2 through 8, with in-field training.
Travel :
- Typical travel time is around 1-1.5 hours in the Grand Rapids area.
