Job Description
Our client, a leading healthcare provider in Northern Arizona, is expanding its world-class anesthesia team. This is a rare opportunity to practice in one of the most stunning and livable areas of the Southwest—Flagstaff or the greater Sedona region—while contributing to a high-performing, collaborative, and supportive care environment.
Join a team where your clinical skills are respected, your lifestyle is prioritized, and your professional growth is championed. Whether you're looking for work-life balance, case diversity, or leadership in regional anesthesia, you’ll find it here.
Why This Role?
This CRNA opportunity is tailor-made for motivated professionals who value flexibility, autonomy, and purpose-driven care. Here’s what makes it stand out:
- No nights, no call, and predictable scheduling – allowing you to truly enjoy life outside of work.
- Collaborative 1:3 medical direction model – work alongside 21 anesthesiologists in a respectful, team-based setting.
- Broad case mix and procedural autonomy – CRNAs handle everything except cardiac and OB, including performing nerve blocks.
- Defined growth path and support for skill development – ideal for CRNAs ready to deepen expertise or explore leadership.
- Extra shifts optional, not expected – maintain your ideal balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe and effective anesthesia care in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Independently manage a wide range of cases, excluding cardiac and obstetrics.
- Perform regional blocks and other advanced procedures as appropriate.
- Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and clinical staff in a 1:3 model.
- Maintain compliance with documentation, safety standards, and quality initiatives.
- Participate in ongoing learning and quality improvement efforts.
- Rotate through shifts with flexible start/end times (8, 10, or 12 hours) – no overnight shifts.
- Cover approximately one weekend every five weeks and one evening shift stretch every six weeks.
What We’re Looking For
- Current CRNA certification and Arizona licensure (or eligibility).
- Strong clinical judgment with comfort managing diverse case types.
- Skilled in or willing to learn regional anesthesia techniques.
- Team-oriented, proactive, and committed to patient-centered care.
- Open to CRNAs at all career stages – from newly certified to seasoned professionals.

- Setting: Hospital and ambulatory surgical centers.
- Schedule: Full-time, salaried; 3–5 shifts/week averaging 40 hours.
- Flexibility: Ample time-off opportunities with PTO or creative shift grouping.
