Job Description :

This job is responsible for significant contributions to the development and delivery of the overall marketing strategy for a portfolio of medium to large programs, products, and processes. Key responsibilities include using data to inform marketing program deliverables, interacting actively with multiple business partners to support priorities and project direction and using advanced logic to make complex decisions and judgements with a noticeable impact felt on functional results. Job expectations include identifying risks and opportunities and defining and delivering strategic solutions.

The Business Banking Marketing Manager will interact and collaborate with senior management in the line of business to develop and local Market Executives to implement marketing strategies and programs that align with Business Banking goals and objectives. The role will also work collaboratively with cross line of business peers to develop and execute cross line of business marketing programming including events and sponsorships.

Responsibilities :

  • Partner with key business partners including the LOB, cross line of business peers, Sales Performance, Corporate Communications, Global Sponsorship Marketing, Research, Global Events Marketing and internal/external agencies.
  • Work with Analytics, Modeling and Insights (AMI) team to develop and enhance tracking systems to measure events and sponsorship performance.
  • Manage external and internal creative agencies and assist in preparation of creative strategies, briefs and continuous guidance over the creative development process, and facilitate approval of creative elements.
  • Integrate with other Regional Marketing Managers (cross line of business peers) to leverage best practices, and ensure national consistency in approach and planning across all Commercial regions.
  • Develop and execute the local marketing plan by market in support of business goals.
  • Program creation and presentation of documentation to internal and external partners, executive leadership, and approval through regular, mandatory governance routines.
  • Proactively identify issues and optimization opportunities, line-of-business and partner routines and marketing and sales meetings.
  • Manage fiscal budget for the marketing programs and regions(s).

Required Qualifications :

  • 10+ years of B2B marketing and/or digital experience, preferably in financial services (planning, developing, implementing and evaluating campaigns and programs)
  • Ability to synthesize business information to think strategically and proactively
  • Ability to work across a large corporation while demonstrating strong teamwork and consensus building skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment with partners in multiple locations
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Influence w/o Authority
