Pay Range: $55 - $63/Hour Job Responsibilities We are looking for a motivated bioinformatics contractor to join our research data science team. The candidate will support research oncology projects. Programming and troubleshooting of bioinformatics analysis workflow. Performing the analysis of multiple high-throughput omics data sets, including scRNASeq, TCR-Seq, WES, ATAC-Seq, and proteomics. Performing biological signatures and pathways analysis. Curation of gene signatures and pathways from literature or public domains. Other bioinformatics analysis in support of research oncology projects as assigned. Knowledge, Experience and Skills: The ideal candidate should have an advanced degree in bioinformatics, computational biology, biostatistics, computer sciences, or closely related fields. Prior working experience in the biopharmaceutical industry is preferred. The candidate should have fundamental knowledge in cancer biology and immunology. The candidate should have general knowledge of statistical analysis. Strong programming skills such as R, Perl, or Python. Experience with open-source bioinformatics tools and packages to analyze large omics data, e.g., TCGA, GTEx, CCLE DepMap, is required.
