****This job is remote working in PST zone****
**Pay rate:** $40/ hr.- $50/ hr.
**Location:** Remote but must be able to work in PST time zone
**Job Type:** 6-month contract
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Process & analyze high-throughput sequencing data from various platforms
+ Test bioinformatics software, pipelines and workflows with different parameterizations and compare results
+ Package bioinformatics software, pipelines and workflows for distribution through Bioconda and container repositories
+ Write CI/CD Github Actions tasks for automated unit test running, compile time benchmarking, performance regression checking
+ Develop frontend data visualization components for proteomics and multiome data
+ Prepare bioinformatics data web apps (made with Dash, Shiny, Streamlit) for deployment on product
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Bioinfomatics, Computational Biology or related field+ 2 years of Biotech/Academia/Research experience
+ Proficient in a GNU/Linux command line interface and Python, Javascript
+ Experience with High Performance Computing Clusters (HPC) and job schedulers
+ Experience with bioinformatics workflow management frameworks (snakemake, nextflow)
+ CI/CD experience
+ Experience with front end development
Nice to Haves:
+ Experience with JS frameworks: React, Next.js, Node.js, d3.js, tailwind
+ Experience with AnnData format
+ Experience with variant cell format (VCF)
