- Responsibilities include assessing patients, administering medications, documenting care, and educating patients and families.
- Utilizes the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation—to meet patient needs using evidence-based practices.
- Plans for patient throughput, manages unit operations, and ensures safety and quality care in compliance with regulations.
- Maintains health information documentation and ensures equipment functionality.
