Overview:
Deloitte is seeking a highly skilled AWS Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and support of AWS-based infrastructure for a critical client engagement. The role requires strong hands-on experience in AWS cloud services, scripting, infrastructure automation, and cloud operations in an onsite environment.
Position: Contract Long-term potential
Responsibilities:
Deploy, manage, and scale AWS-hosted applications with high availability and performance
Architect infrastructure solutions and develop automation scripts
Implement security and compliance standards across AWS environments
Troubleshoot AWS deployment and performance issues end-to-end
Monitor usage and implement cost optimization strategies
Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to support CI/CD and serverless/microservices deployments
Requirement Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with AWS core services: EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM
Proficiency in scripting languages: Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Experience with Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation
Familiarity with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI
Strong understanding of AWS security configurations and cost monitoring
Candidate Details:
Must have strong hands-on AWS experience and scripting abilities
Should be comfortable working onsite and in fast-paced delivery teams
Prior experience with cloud security, automation, and optimization required
