Position Summary: We're seeking a detail-oriented, mechanically inclined Assembly Technician to join our aerospace production team. In this role, you'll be assembling, testing, and inspecting complex components to exact specifications, ensuring high-quality standards and adherence to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities: - Perform mechanical assembly of aerospace components using hand tools, torque wrenches, and precision instruments
- Follow detailed blueprints, work instructions, and schematics
- Conduct in-process inspections to ensure compliance with engineering specifications
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Maintain accurate documentation and production records
- Support continuous improvement
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications a plus
- Minimum 2 years of mechanical assembly experience-preferably in aerospace or precision manufacturing-preferred but not required
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed instructions
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Experience with sheet metal is a plus
