About the role:

Gartner Analysts are industry thought leaders who create essential research, market predictions, and best practices for leading organizations. A Senior Director leads within Gartner’s Research and Advisory sector, establishing credibility in their market at local, regional, and global levels. They produce pragmatic and provocative research to help clients achieve their objectives and serve as trusted advisors through various client interactions and Gartner events.

This role involves providing technical analysis and implementation advice on Analytics and AI topics within Gartner’s IT Role Based Products practice.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Create innovative research and best practices focused on AI and GenAI technologies, including LLMs, RAG, Agentic AI, Data Engineering, Graph, Explainability, Data Pipelines, and cloud AI capabilities.
  2. Develop new research ideas and provide actionable guidance to clients to accelerate their strategies.
  3. Conduct in-depth technical analysis to identify root causes and reframe client challenges.
  4. Establish research positions and provide thought leadership within the team.
  5. Engage clients through virtual and face-to-face interactions, delivering high-value presentations.
  6. Support research and sales initiatives by providing market insights and peer reviews.
  7. Build credibility as an industry expert and participate in research discussions and process improvements.
  8. Mentor junior team members and actively promote client engagement with Gartner research.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 12+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Executive presence and credibility with stakeholders
  • Strong organizational, research, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis, synthesis, and presenting complex concepts
  • Subject matter expertise and experience speaking at large or small events
  • Deep knowledge of the global AI landscape and market dynamics
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural, matrixed environment
